Award Winning MainStreet
Downtown DeLand is an award winning Florida Main Street community where we have learned to cherish our past while planning for and moving into the 21st Century. DeLand has many dedicated businesses and individuals working daily to maintain a lively and economically successful downtown.
DeLand was the first community to receive the Main Street designation in Florida and was recognized as a “Great American Main Street Award” winner in 1997 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation Main Street Center. In 2017 MainStreet DeLand won the “America’s Main Streets” contest presented by IndependentWeStand.org. We are the only community to have earned both awards!
Spend a little time with us and you will find we are an authentic, thriving, great American downtown. Whether you are here for business or planning to visit our downtown, we hope you will find what you’re looking for on our website.
