Minor Volunteer Requirements
Before a minor can participate in any MainStreet DeLand volunteer shift, a completed Minor Volunteer Waiver and Parental Consent Form must be submitted. This form ensures that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and approved the minor’s participation and acknowledges the responsibilities and risks associated with volunteering at MSDA events.
This form must be completed and submitted prior to signing up for any volunteer position.
Minors will not be allowed to volunteer until the form has been received.
Once the form has been filled out, please either bring the signed form to the MainStreet DeLand office at:
100 N. Woodland Blvd, Suite 4, DeLand, FL 32720 or email it to: volunteer@mainstreetdeland.org
Submitting the form does not automatically register the minor for an event.
After the form is received, the minor (or parent/guardian) must still go to the specific event listed under Volunteer Opportunities below and sign up for a volunteer role/shift.

Join our behind-the-scenes team that keeps MainStreet running smoothly! Office Helpers assist with occasional tasks such as distributing flyers to downtown merchants, organizing event materials, and helping with storage room cleanup after events.
This flexible volunteer role is perfect for anyone who enjoys staying connected to the heart of Downtown DeLand and lending a hand wherever it’s needed most.
DeLand Craft Beer Festival
