This annual celebration brings our community together to recognize the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans. From the opening ceremony to the parade and Red, White & Blue Bash, we invite you to be part of this special day.

The celebration continues after the parade with a Hot Dog Eating Contest and Pie Baking Contest, corn hole, potato sack races, and more as Downtown DeLand comes together to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary. Whether you're ready to take on the competition or just want to cheer on the participants, join us for some good old-fashioned American fun in Downtown DeLand!
Participate in the Parade
We invite Volusia County veterans and military-oriented organizations to join us for this year's parade. Military vehicles, marching groups, patriotic floats and veterans representing their branches of service help make this a meaningful community tradition.
Participant lineup begins at 8:30 a.m. at Michigan Avenue and Woodland Boulevard.
Nominate a Veteran of Honor
Help us recognize a deserving veteran for their military service. The Mayor’s Veteran of Honor will be recognized during the opening ceremony and receive a special place of honor in the parade.

Location
The parade takes place in historic Downtown DeLand, conveniently located just off Interstate 4 between Daytona Beach and Orlando.
Please note that parking time restrictions are not enforced on weekends.
