The City of DeLand presents Winter Wonder DeLand, a month-long celebration of the holidays, where you can enjoy holiday lighting displays and ambiance in Downtown DeLand. It all kicks off at Light Up DeLand on December 6. This memorable night will include ice skating, Santa’s Workshop with Christmas crafts for children, face painting, live musical performances, pictures with Santa, and more. The best part of the night: watching Santa skydive in from above to light the Downtown DeLand tree!

Grab the kids and set out on the Mistletoe March, everyone’s favorite annual scavenger hunt. Soldiers march into the shops in downtown DeLand and you get to help us find them!

And nothing says Christmas like a holiday show! The Athens Theatre will have live performances of A Christmas Carol, a Christmas concert by the Great American Big Band, and the Victorian performance troupe Phantasmagoria presents some whimsical and ‘spirited’ ghost tales for the Holidays.
