Plenty to do in DeLand this Summer

Congratulations to our graduating seniors! Whether you are ending your high school or college career, we hope that DeLand is becoming the town you will want to come back to. DeLand continues to have growth in jobs in a variety of industries and DeLand offers many of the things talent desires in a community when searching for a place to call home.

Have you noticed the “Help Wanted” signs? If you know some friendly motivated people looking for employment send them to our Downtown. There are still good fun jobs available.

Keep Downtown DeLand and West Volusia in mind as you plan your Summer vacations this year. There’s plenty to do in our area. More Bike trails have opened and we have a recently designated National Scenic Byway! Learn more at ROLHC.org or river2sealoop.org.

Of course, you know our amazing shops and restaurants are open this summer. All of our downtown businesses are air conditioned. Imagine that! It’s never too hot to come downtown. In fact, shopping local is cool!
