LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival celebrating, showcasing and championing women in film. Over the past 20 years, LUNAFEST has shone a spotlight on ground breaking new stories and raised over $6 million for women’s causes. LUNAFEST was the first traveling film festival by women and about women; it opened the door for diverse, female filmmakers to tell their unique stories.

This year features eight short films with a total running time of 80 minutes that will challenge our perceptions about the world and our place in it, spark conversations, strengthen connections, and inspire us to be better versions of ourselves. (Ages 13 and up).

Films feature bold individuals, powerful images, and impactful language. Stories reflect the diverse perspectives of the filmmakers and their subjects. Some may contain content that is not suitable for children.
