A Panel Discussion on the Florida Highwaymen

Join us for a compelling panel discussion exploring the lives, relationships, and lasting impact of the Florida Highwaymen. This conversation includes notable panelists, collector Lance Walker and Dr. Wanda Renée Mills, daughter of celebrated Highwaymen artist Mary Ann Carroll, and will include additional panelists to be announced.

This discussion will reflect on the artists’ lived experiences, entrepreneurial spirit, and the social and cultural conditions that shaped their work. Through stories of collecting, family legacy, and firsthand memory, the evening will illuminate the human narratives behind the iconic landscapes. This program offers a rare opportunity to hear from voices uniquely positioned to speak to both the preservation and personal legacy of the Florida Highwaymen.
