Landscape Workshop with Legacy Highwayman Kelvin Hair

Join us for an inspiring two-hour Florida landscape painting workshop led by second-generation Highwaymen artist Kelvin Hair, son of legendary painter Alfred Hair. Rooted in the vibrant tradition of the Florida Highwaymen, this hands-on creative experience invites participants to explore the colors, light, and spirit of Florida’s natural landscapes through paint.

Kelvin will guide participants step-by-step through techniques to create landscape elements, sharing Highwaymen stories and his unique artistic insights along the way. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced painter, this workshop is designed to be welcoming, engaging, and creatively energizing. A selection of Kelvin Hair’s original works will be available for purchase during the workshop, offering a unique opportunity to collect contemporary work connected directly to this important chapter of Florida art history.

All materials are provided. Just bring your curiosity and creativity. Advance registration is required and scholarships are available for those with financial need.
