Recently featured at the Athens Theatre’s 100th Anniversary Celebration, The Ramblers musicians are all accomplished performers in the concert and jazz areas–and have a special love for early jazz music, especially featuring tunes from New Orleans and the 1920s. Their repertoire spans ragtime-era music including Scott Joplin, New Orleans traditional jazz by Jelly Roll Morton and Louis Armstrong, and hot 1920s music by composers such as Bix Beiderbecke, Hoagy Carmichael, and Cole Porter.
