Happy New Year! This has been a good and busy year for MainStreet DeLand.
They say, “There’s always something happening in DeLand.” That’s really been the case this year. We hosted our usual great events and festivals and added a special one-time event to celebrate winning America’s Main Street! This community’s support was amazing!
Looking forward to 2018 we will continue to work with downtown merchants, property owners, and stakeholders. A great downtown doesn’t happen by accident and our staff, board, and partners are committed to our mission to support and enhance the continuing economic development of Downtown DeLand while protecting and promoting its historic heritage.
Thanks to all of you who support our retail merchants, restaurants, and all the other services available to you here. If you haven’t come to downtown DeLand in a while, there’s no time like the present! Come experience the energy of an authentic, historic, and bustling downtown.
We kick off the year with our Taste of DeLand on January 20th. Here’s your chance to get a taste of what some of the DeLand area’s best restaurants and caterers have to offer. Tickets are on sale now on the MainStreetDeLand.org website or you can pick them up at our office or the West Volusia Beacon office.
Check out our on-line calendar to find our complete schedule of events our download our Distrx app on your smart phone. There you’ll learn about our Build Your Business Group; Tech DeLand; Wine, Women, and Chocolate; the DeLand Cruise-In and more. You can even find how you can support fundraising for the Rufus Pinkney mural we’ll do this year.
