This proven program will help empower the main street and residents to become visionaries and problem solvers through banding together and consensus-building. The proposed lecture would introduce the Community Heart and Soul model, explain the process, and outline the benefits of the program. Additionally, this lecture would outline the program’s $10,000 seed grant, and how communities can leverage this effort to maximize public interaction or input before conducting downtown or community planning exercises.
