DeLand was among the first five communities to receive the Main Street designation in Florida in 1985 and was recognized as a “Great American Main Street Award” winner in 1997 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation Main Street Center. In 2017, MainStreet DeLand won the “America’s Main Streets” contest presented by IndependentWeStand.org. We are the only community in the nation to have earned both awards!

MainStreet Bucks can be used in shops and restaurants in Downtown DeLand, and come in $5 denominations. They can be mailed to you, or you can arrange to pick them up at our office.*
Downtown CRA & Gateway Grant Programs
At least once per year and contingent upon funding, the City of DeLand provides competitive grant programs designed to encourage building improvements within the downtown redevelopment area (CRA).
